I'm Kate Kwon, an Industrial Design senior at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD)!

I’m drawn to the full process of design, from early research and ideation to hands-on prototyping and refinement. My work often explores CMF, soft goods, and material-driven design, with an emphasis on how products feel, age, and connect to people over time. I enjoy working in experimental, tactile environments where iteration and making guide the outcome.

Originally from Irvine, CA, I’ve studied both in the U.S. and abroad at the University of the Arts London, which deepened my curiosity about how design, culture, and sustainability intersect.

I’m open to new opportunities and always looking to collaborate, learn, and keep exploring new ways design can shape everyday experience.
